experience encompassing all areas of management
and development, with strong emphasis on convention/trade
show management, membership development, marketing,
publications, association operations and financial management.
Previously the COO of the Environmental Industry
Associations (EIA) and the National Electrical Contractors
Association (NECA), Lawson is the author of A Basic Guide
for Labor
Agreement Negotiations and A Glossary of Labor
Terms for Use in Trade Show Management. Lawson was the
1998 Chairman of the International Association for Exposition
Management (IAEM) and is active in many industry associations.
