Daniel E. Weber
With 30 years association management experience at
the Institute of Food Technologies (IFT), formerly IFT's
Director of Marketing & Meetings, Dan retired as Executive
Vice President in 2003 where he managed IFT’s programs of
publications, web sites and an annual meeting that draws
25,000 attendees with an exhibition featuring 2500 booths.
Dan has been President of the Professional Convention
Management Association (PCMA), the International
Association for Exposition Management (IAEM) and has
received the Meeting Planner of the Year Award from the
Association for Convention Operations Management (ACOM)
and the Distinguished Service Award from the Northwest
Mental Health Association. He was inducted into the
Convention Liaison Council (CLC) Hall of Leaders in 2002.
